Basic Principles

The basic principles, which should guide us, with respect to our K-12 education, are as follows:

1 – Our ultimate goal is to provide our children with the best education possible. This education must allow our children, once they enter the workforce, to compete and win in the global marketplace, as they compete with other K-12 graduates from around the world.

2 – The better the quality of the teachers, the better the quality of education that each child will receive.

3 – If teachers’ salaries are higher, there will be more competition in the teaching workforce and we will get better quality teachers in our schools.
